On the back of digital transformation, data collection and analysis have come to play an increasingly important role in helping dairy farmers achieve greater efficiency and flexibility while enhancing animal welfare. In light of this development, GEA has engineered a new herd and farm management system called DairyNet. Based on over 35 years’ experience in this field, it marks the latest evolution in the proven GEA DairyPlan system.

At first, GEA DairyNet will be available for use with the GEA DairyRobot R9500. Integration with theDairyProQ automated rotary milking parlor as well as conventional milking systems will follow at a later date. Scheduled to make its debut on the German market by early summer of this year, the new system will then be successively rolled out across Europe. The global launch of the technology compatible with automatic milking systems will take place by the end of 2022.
