Dairy producers, consultants, and industry professionals are invited to attend a free webinar hosted by the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach dairy team on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. This session will introduce DecisiveDry, a valuable tool within the Dairy Records Management Systems’ HerdHQ suite, designed to assist in determining the need for dry treatment in cows. By employing a Selective Dry Cow Therapy (SDCT) approach, DecisiveDry helps reduce dry treatment expenses and limit antibiotic usage. Greg Palas, support services manager at DRMS at Iowa State University, will lead the webinar, outlining essential steps for identifying cows eligible for SDCT and those requiring treatment.
