About Our Guest:

I was born and raised in southern part of the U.S.. I grew up on one of the first large dairies in the south. We milked 1500 hd in late seventies and early eighties in the state of Louisiana. After that we moved to Texas for a year and then to Oklahoma where my dad managed Braum’s dairy in Tuttle Oklahoma. I worked nights in the parlors which were 4 double fifteen herringbones. After high school I moved to Florida for two years and worked on the gen farm dairies and also worked for The University of Florida research farm. After that I transferred to finish my education to Oklahoma State University where I graduated with an ag education degree. After school I then started a career in the feedlot industry for a few years and then was a cowboy on a large commercial cow\calf ranch. left there and took a path back to the dairy industry(which is a lengthy one with stopping in many parts of the U.S) and that path has led me here to Wisconsin. Currently I manage Wiese Brothers Dairy and have held this position for almost 17 years. We have 6600 milking cows and 6700 heifers and calves. We raise all of our calves from day 1 to day 180. I manage all aspects of the dairy and heifer programs which consist of 73 employees. I have three kids Haley, Wyatt, and Payton and a dog named Gus willy . We live in Depere Wisconsin.

I also am the owner of HB cattle solutions LLC. a company that provides products and advice to the dairy and beef industry.
