Maizex Seeds has announced the appointments of Henry Prinzen, CCA and Adam Parker,
CCA to the positions of Market Development Agronomists in Ontario. In their new roles, Parker and Prinzen will provide agronomy and product positioning support to Maizex Seeds customers and dealers in their regions of focus in Ontario.
Prinzen, who was the territory manager for Maizex in the western south territory, will focus his efforts on regions west of Stratford and then south of Hwy. 401 to the Niagara region, together with support for dealers in eastern Ontario. Prinzen will also be involved in Maizex agronomy research and education initiatives, including the Great Ontario Yield Tour.
Parker, who managed the western north territory, will in his new role, be focusing on areas north and east of Prinzen’s area. In addition to his agronomy support efforts, Parker will also be leading the market development for forage seeds as Maizex further develops this product line.
“Both Adam and Henry bring extensive agronomy experience to their new roles, which take advantage of their skills in this area,” said Stephen Denys, Director of Market and Product Development with Maizex Seeds, in a media release.
“These appointments reflect our continued investment in agronomy and product support at Maizex Seeds. This continues to be a core area of focus for the company as we work with farmers across Canada as a Canadian farmer-owned and focused seed company.”
Maizex will be recruiting immediately for territory managers for the territories previously covered by Parker and Prinzen.
