On November 1, 2024, the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) announced the intention to decrease milk component prices paid to producers by processors. New milk component prices were subsequently approved by nine out of ten provincial authorities on November 27th, 2024.

Newfoundland and Labrador will not move forward with a pricing adjustment.

All price adjustments will come into effect on February 1, 2025 and are accessible on the Canadian Dairy Information Centre website.
